Cash Converters Buying Policy
In order to expedite your experience at any of our stores, we ask that you abide by our selling and buying procedures. Some of these steps are required by local or state law enforcement agencies, and to ensure your protection in the process. When you’re ready to come see us, please note the following:
1) For a good customer experience, take your items directly to the Buy Station Counter and offer as much detail on the merchandise as you know. You may also quote a desired price (but note you might receive an offer for less).
2) Bring two forms of ID – this is required. One must have a photo (driver’s license, military ID, passport).
3) You must be 18 years of older to deal with Cash Converters, no exceptions.
4) Make sure your merchandise is clean, has all necessary parts, and is in working order.
5) For your protection, all transactions are videotaped, no exceptions.
Cash Converters will pay instant cash for items based upon the condition and resale value of merchandise. If you are not in need of cash, you have the option of trading directly for another item or for store credit. Many people opt for the latter two because we offer an incredible selection of goods in our stores, and with trade you can make a great deal!
Interested in buying something from our stores? Cash Converters offers a 90-day warranty on most products, exceptions being speakers (no warranty) and software, CDs, and videos (1-day warranty). Any car stereo equipment bought from us must be installed by the management’s preferred professional merchandise must display a defect that was not apparent at time of purchase defect must not be due to misuse management reserves the right to decline to offer a warranty. Lack of warranty will be made clear to the customer prior to purchase and written on the receipt.
Cash Converters Return Policy
Most of our merchandise has a 90 day warranty against defects. If you are returning car audio equipment, you must also provide an installation receipt from a licensed installer.
Customers returning merchandise that is not defective will receive either store credit and be charged half the restocking fee, or cash and charged the full restocking fee.
